We're gonna get to it n- not first thing on the podcast on this episode, but we're gonna get to it really close, within the first, like, 15 minutes or so, okay? Uh, the very first thing I wanna get to this morning, um, or in this episode, is this: that the midterm elections are now 22 days away, and I've been making a post since they were 29 days away.
So for a week now, every single day, I've been posting on my social media this reminder counting down the days to the election, and I've been making some Shorts, and they're-- I hate making Shorts.
I hate, [chuckles] I hate Shorts.
Uh, but they're super popular, and with something like this, I really wanna get the message out.
So I've been making a Short that I'm posting to Rumble and YouTube each day counting down the days to the midterm election and telling people that their voice and their vote matter, and they need to make a plan to vote.
And I like saying it that way.
Instead of just telling people to go vote, I prefer to say, "Make a plan to vote." And the reason is because if you're like me, if you have kids, and if you have a job that's, like, nine to five or something, or eight to five, or longer, um, going to vote, it's a very easy thing to do, but it's also easy to forget about.
Uh, we're living our lives, and for a lot of people, the, especially the people we need to turn out to get to the polls, they actually do need to make a plan to go vote, either leaving kids at school a little longer with aftercare, or picking the kids up earlier, or dropping the kids off and then going to vote early, before they, uh, before they go to work, or on their lunch break, or something like that.
Um, for a lot of us, I know you have to make a plan to vote.
Now, there are other people, uh, that they're retired, or the kids are out of their house, or their job just has a lot of flexibility with it, and it's very easy to go vote on Election Day.
No big deal at all, and it is easy to actually do the act.
But arranging the things that you have to do in your day-to-day life and your responsibilities so that you have that window of time to go vote, sometimes that takes some planning.
So I choose to say it this way, and I just wanna ask my audience to please encourage others to go vote.
Use your social media, uh, talk to your friends and family, talk to your coworkers, and encourage them to go vote in these midterm elections.
The-- Ignore the polling.
Ignore the polling.
We're gonna talk about a mid- midterm election issue later in this episode, uh, but I'm not gonna even talk about the polling really.
Uh, just ignore all that and vote your conscience, and we-- It's very-- MAGA doesn't like to hear this.
I'm sorry.
MAGA and the GOP, uh, Republican voters don't like to hear how bad of a job they sometimes do with showing up and voting.
Uh, but I'm sorry, that is an issue in some places.
Getting MAGA to show up to midterm elections and vote is kind of an issue.
It's a bit of a problem that we have.
Um, another thing is that MAGA tends to not vote early, and I've talked about this before, and I'm gonna do it again.
Voting early is a very good strategic thing to do.
