So, Hobbit cards, just as a general set, these are cards that have the HOB set code on the bottom, and they are permitted in standard, pioneer, modern, as well as commander and other formats.

But there's also another code that might show up on cards.

You mean the HOC code?

Yes, the HOC code.

For Hobbit commander cards?

Yes.

For which set that we have no commander decks?

Look, man.

Stop saying the quiet part out loud.

I just want to know.

You know, it's all in branding and marketing these days.

And if there are no commander decks, can you really have a commander set code?

Well, where would where would one find these commander cards with this commander set code?

I believe you find them in collector packs, in booster box, gift box thingies and maybe something else.

There's there's like three products that they could pop up in, but not in play boosters unless there's a one off.

But I don't think there is in play boosters.

Yeah, so these are cards that may be found in collector boosters, the draft night bundle, or the gift bundle.

And additionally, there might be some previously printed cards with the HOC set code that are legal for play in any format where the card with the same name was already permitted.

So just to be clear, these cards are legal in the format that they're legal in.

There's definitely a better way to

say that.

So they're legal unless they're not.

I like saying it exactly that way.
