So, The place of lack that so many of us spend a lot of time in, partly because we're expected to, partly because we're sold that as a story, right? If somebody wants to market to you, how are they going to do it? The classic is to go for the pain points, and that means show you where you are lacking, where things aren't good for you.

But here's the thing.

If you buy into that mindset of lack, I don't have this.

I need to change something so I can get that.

We could use abundance, for example.

If you are trying to get abundance, it means you don't have it.

So in that case, where is it? You know, I heard an expression today that I really liked, which was it's about the caterpillar.

And the caterpillar says to a butterfly, how do I become a butterfly? And the butterfly responded with, well, first you have to be prepared to give up being a caterpillar.

Mm-hmm.

And that's the key, really, to, you know, you can transfer this to anything.

You can generalize it anywhere, really.

But if you think you don't have the thing, you're right, because you're separated from it.

But you have to connect to the source, whatever you consider that to be, or your deity or the spirits, like however you were going to connect, you need to connect for that flow to happen.

That's what's missing.

You aren't lacking anything.

You just need to stop looking for the external source and connect to the source you have.

Yes.

And I like that, giving up being a caterpillar.

That's a message that so many people I know right now who are kind of humming and hawing about pursuing this, pursuing magic.

And it's like, it's like, you literally have to like, you're not going to do magic and live a normal life.

Like.

No, would you want to?
