And so the Trump regime pushes out, "The reason that we see diesel surging," Trump says, "has nothing to do with what's going on in the Middle East." He says it's because Zelensky keeps on striking refineries in Russia, and that's causing the price of diesel to surge.

So Donald, you promised you were going to end the war in Ukraine in 24 hours 'cause you knew Putin and Zelensky so well, it would be easy.

Recently, for example, Anthony Fauci was brought up, and it wasn't so much about what you are accused of having done, it's about what your answers are.

That's a hugely transformative thing that got democratized in various periods in our previous life.

I keep thinking that maybe the analogy for some of this research is gain of function, that we are pressing our luck trying to get for good reasons, right? I mean, this is the thing that like a lot of the yahoos who are like, you know, wanna have Fauci hung miss that he wasn't a s-- I mean, it may be totally open.

He made a lot of mistakes, don't get me wrong, but he wasn't doing it to be a Bond villain, right? There were good, sound public policy reasons to do gain of function research.

But the thing I think a lot of us, in part because sci-fi got here so early, I mean, it is amazing how far back a, the machines taking over stuff goes in American culture.

For some reason, Aaron Rodgers is still in the league.

Aaron Rodgers, earlier this summer, just starting off his appearance on Pat McAfee, going off on Anthony Fauci, because Fauci was pleading the fifth in a hearing that didn't matter.

He wanted to move to Paris, so he moved to Paris and- Jesus was on the, you know, Jesus- He was on the run like The Bourne Identity.

He was on the Seine River having a cigarette.

I think everybody's sort of taking it all in the same way that we are.

It's been amazing to watch, you know, the, the exposure of the whole COVID scam [laughs] and everything that was going on with Fauci and the rest of the, the, his band of criminals.

I try not to get too political [laughs] on this podcast, but man, we slugged it out for two full years, man, and, uh, turns out the conspiracy theorists, all of us crazies, [laughs] we were 100% right.

And, uh, this is just gonna be our moment to stop and be like, "Hey, you know what? Critical thinking is, uh, alive and well." [laughs] And, uh, it was a battle, man.
