This started, of course, we talked last week, Trump banned CNN from the press pool.

So it's kind of crazy because this is this is obviously very authoritarian to do a state run media to try and fill the vacuum from CNN and all these places.

There's no host to explain to you what you're seeing or why you were seeing it.

No sense of why a particular event is meaningful or when it occurred or what the event is.

I went to this last night and it is just a mixed tape of various Trump speeches.

And in my view, that means it actually does a better job than the legacy media of conveying the overall feeling of what the fuck is happening.

The real media has trouble capturing Donald Trump because it keeps trying to apply normal human logic and be like, this is context for what you're watching.

Trump TV, to me, leans into what's really happening, which is a decade long fucking nightmare.

And because nightmares don't have logic and one minute you're in your mom's kitchen and then the next minute you're at your old job, but it's not really your old job.

My take on this is that, of course, it's alarming that Trump is doing his own news channel.
