Cowboys Minicamp Takeaways with Bryan Broaddus

Just to start real quick, uh, give me your trust.

I mean, we always, we're always looking for June content, but what, where, where is...

Is the trust...

Is it, is it because of what's happened to us in training camps in the past? Are we a little bit more dialed down, or is enthusiasm, "Well, this Christian Parker man, I'm liking what he's saying.

I'm, I'm watching clinic talks where he's breaking down inside linebacker play, and I'm, you know, I'm all this..." Where, where are we right now? I mean, we...

Do we, are we tapping, tapping the brakes and seeing what's happening, or what's going on with you?

Okay.

I think they have a good coaching staff, and I don't know the last time I've looked at it and been like, "You know what? I think you have guys who give you an advantage out there on game day," and I think, I think that I think that.

You know what the, you know what the new...

And maybe it's not the new, but the more that I get closer to training camp, the more I wonder, are your guys football intelligent enough to run this defense?

Yeah, 'cause that changed everything.

And they changed a lot of, they changed a lot of guys.

And I mean this in no disrespect to anybody.

I'm not calling anybody dumb, but this is a really cerebral defensive coordinator.

Yeah.

This is a guy that we're playing, you know...
