UFC Paris Recap, 293 Preview

Before we even get into the shows, let's talk about some news because there's things happening around this country.

I don't even know if I want to, Bruce.

At this point, like, I don't know.

I've said this a couple times on the show.

Do you remember when we first started the show? The two biggest topics that we ever talked about outside of the UFC and mixed martial arts were Charlie Sheen and the situation.

Well, that either means that the show wasn't as deep as it is today.

Simpler times, Buff.

What's that? It was just simpler times.

It's amazing because simpler times were many years ago before phones, before internet, before whatever.

Sure.

Now we have all that, and yet simple times was 16 years ago or 17 since we started this show.

Yeah.

It's not an example of our intelligence level and what we talked about.

It was an example of just the simplicity, like you said, of times.

It's not simple anymore, and let's go into why it's not simple anymore.

And just real quick, last thing.

Just Charlie Sheen and his winning and all that nonsense and the situation, as you called the guy from Jersey Shore.

No offense,

but yeah.

But those were

the craziest moments in society.

Those were the things that people were going, well, look at Charlie Sheen.

He's

crazy.

Not the case now.
