Inside LAFC | Episode 223 - Back to MLS Play

Yes, and just the one goal.

And it felt like there for a minute that perhaps the levee was gonna break, and we'll have that rare game where LAFC just flourish in the attacking third.

It didn't happen, and, uh, now we have to wait and see.

But we have to temper this as well, because it was the first game for Xavi Tamarit, the interim coach.

This is a big spot for him.

Spoke to him last week.

You know, he views this as a great opportunity to potentially become a head coach, uh, in waiting, or a head coach certainly at, on a permanent basis.

And by the way, they would, uh, um, they would, um, be watching this, uh, this opportunity with other interim coaches.

Ryan Richter at Philadelphia Union's having a great run.

I mean, he's gonna possibly do it.

And it's not an isolated incident, so we will see what is going to happen here with regards to Xavi Tamarit.

This is, uh, Inside LAFC Podcast, live on LAFC YouTube, Facebook.

Uh, coming a little bit later, so we know we're gonna affect it.

By the way, the Dodger game is going on as well while we're taping this, so that could probably be them.

We appreciate being there already, the, coming in with VAVEL, so we'll...

Let's just get into the meat and potatoes of it, Benny.

Uh, LAFC one, Whitecaps one.

This game, uh, five changes for Xavi Tamarit in the 11.

A little different with Sunny coming in as essentially a number 10, and that's something-

Right

... we will talk about.

Uh, the first start for Sergio Vázquez, with Schwanyer in the midfield.

Shaf Razzaq, Armindo Sieb is now putting together, um, some starts.

So you have two new players there in the front six.

Then you have Cheva, Segura, Porteous, Palencia.
