And there were some easy choices on this team, some more challenging choices, I would say, that we went back and forth on.
Of course, we did consult with a bunch of coaches across the conference to get their thoughts and opinions, looked at the stats, crunched some numbers.
No surprise to see Darian Mensah as the quarterback, or Nate Shepard as the running back.
Probably won't be on the final team because he's now out for the year with a leg injury, and it's too bad because he is still leading the nation in forced missed tackles, even though he missed the second half of the game against Miami.
Luke Reynolds at tight end, Braden Jacobs, Braden Miller, Addison Nichols, Tyson Ruffins on the offensive line, and Ryan Rodriguez as well.

And look, the name that, of course, it's on the bottom there, but not at the QB position, is Gio Lopez.
And, and the folks at wake forest thought he had any chance of being on this list, but it is astonishing how close his numbers are to Darien Mensah's numbers.
It has it's way closer at quarterback than it has any right to be one name that I do want to point out because we started off this year by kind of lambasting him.
