Indiana Jones and the Comics Crusade - Episode 27: The Further Adventures of Indiana Jones #27 (Marvel)

Let us turn our attentions to Further Adventures of Indiana Jones 27.

I'm very excited.

To me, it makes it more exciting that this is a book that you've cracked out of a bag that has been in said bag since probably 1985.

It smells great.

Oh, it has that old comic smell.

Yes, sir.

Yes, sir.

That's the one thing.

That's why I have these custom hard bounds made of the old comics, because I want the smell.

I want old comic smell.

Part of the experience.

Well,

let us start where...

All comics start, which is the cover to 27.

I've done a brief description of it earlier in the show.

But now it is time for you to talk about this Keith Pollard cover.

You mentioned a love of Spider-Man and Keith did some Spider-Man's

back.

He did.

And this is the first of a few covers that Keith does for.

But this is the first one.

Yeah, it's interesting that it's a different cover artist than did 26, which is the first part of this story.

But I like the cover quite a bit, actually.

The cover is very action-oriented.

It does refer to something that happens, actually, in the story, which is sometimes you don't get, especially nowadays.
