Before we welcome our guest from another cinema that has just succeeded in reopening after closure, Kyle, tell us about what is happening in our Broadway newsreel.

So at the time of recording, again, our favorite phrase, um, we are just about to reopen our, The Broadway cinema experience for our May weekend, uh, pop-up museum only at this stage.

Um, otherwise, and by the time this podcast goes out, we will have announced this, um, we have...

And you'll remember, if you listened to that episode, that, um, the Wurlitzer is quite a way away from, um, actually being able to play.

Uh, you know, we, we want to bring it back to the original, um, format and construct the full pipe chamber as it was, but in The Broadway, and that of course won't happen until restoration.

But as our, uh, other little coup for the project, we're now not only the only cinema in Scotland to have one cinema organ, we have two.

Uh, we've, [laughs] we've just welcomed, uh, another donated cinema organ, this time a much smaller Compton cinema organ.

Um, it's a Compton Melotone organ, and I think we're gonna need to leave the nerdy details about that for a future episode, 'cause there's, I'm sure there's lots that I still have to learn about m- the Compton organs and Melotone organs specifically.

But the beautiful thing is about this Compton is that it, yeah, essentially remastered and it's, it's now playable digitally.

So there's no pipework or anything that remains, but, um, which is unfortunate, I suppose.
