They're going to face a lot of questions in the off-season, and some of those questions kind of came in the immediate aftermath of the Liberty for a second consecutive year not doing exit interviews.

So that's why you saw a lot of these kind of maybe not game questions, but long-term questions immediately after.

Uh, their big three, Stewie, Sab, JJ, Sabrina Ionescu, Jonquel Jones for anyone new, um, they are signed.

Satou Sabally, who missed most of the year with a, with a concussion, she is signed.

Outside of that, they're going to face a lot more roster construction questions that they-

... should really think about in terms of what went wrong this year and what could go right.

But the big question that is hanging over this team is stemming all the way back to last off-season.

Did they make the right coaching decision? Is Chris DeMarco the right guy for the job? He was asked if he anticipates coming back.

I think the big takeaway here is that when the players were asked, they kinda took a step back and said, "That's not our decision."

They kind of approached it, JJ, Sab, and Stewie, as if we, we, we go as the team asks us to go.

And, and JJ had this quote about, "All we can do is just make our team proud, our fans proud, our families proud, and play in that way." Um, Chris DeMarco's legacy, I guess if you will or, or what he's known for right now is that reset gate.

And if we wanna go back to game two, it feels like that really was emblematic of their season completely.

Uh, that would've allowed them to set up a play in the half court to tie the game and force another overtime.

Now, we don't know if that's what would've happened, but they should've had that chance.

The lasting image though, if you will, is that amid all of this, uh, you go into the presser, and Stewie is asked an opening question about that final play, and she kind of interrupts.

And she turns to Chris and says, "Are you gonna do it or am I?" And Chris looks a little confused, and he goes, "What's that?" And just remains emotionless while Stewie says that there was a reset timeout kerfuffle.

And I think there's like two things here, right? You don't wanna rely on the refs to know how many reset timeouts you have.

There should've been someone on the bench, on the Liberty bench, who knew that they had a reset timeout or who takes accountability for not knowing that or Chris DeMarco takes accountability for his staff.
