And I had 40 plus of these, so I was very limited to just, like, I think, like, five to 10 foods even as a baby.
I wasn't allowed to pet dogs as a kid, otherwise my whole body would break out into hives.
You could have a fasting insulin level of 18, you could be insulin resistant, and your doctor really wouldn't say much because you don't meet the criteria.
You could be trending toward disease, and you could stop that before it becomes a disease.
Is that why my father-in-law is always drunk? He's making acetaldehyde all the time.
And yet despite all of this spending, despite the countless lab tests, the doctor's visits, the specialists that we see ad nauseam as we age, what do we get for those trillions of dollars that we spend tens of thousands individually? Well, here's what we get.
And at large, what we see is an actual decline in the overall vitality of our health span every year after the next.
And so today I'm sitting with a guest and co-host, Chris, better known as The Mito Poppy, my dude, who probably knows the ins and outs of the medical system almost better than anyone, not only as a patient, but as a former pre-med student, and as somebody that works one-on-one with people with complex chronic conditions every single day.
And so Chris, I wanna open this up as my co-host and just get the audience to know you a little bit better.
And your story is unique, and it's, it's definitely something that is overwhelming for most people.
You're somebody that comes from dozens of allergies, and I think I would love to hear your take on a little bit of your story, where that all began, and just sort of the development of the innate immune system as well when you grow up with so many systemic allergies that we see now happening at younger and younger ages.
