What's it like growing up in Florida playing high school football? Because there's a lot of great athletes that come out of Florida.

I mean, where did you get your start playing defensive back, and how did you gravitate towards that position?

Well, see, in Florida, the thing is high school is hard, but Little League, what we call it, is also hard.

So playing with kids your age from different parts of the city, different parts of the states, that's very competitive.

So by the time you get to high school, it's like high school is just like – Let's just keep playing football.

Like, it's fun now, but now high school is more of structure.

Yeah.

So now you got to wake up early.

You got to go to the weight room.

You got to go to class, be ready for practice, and all those little things.

And all those little things like that just made me better for being a pro or when I actually got to college.

Because from the start, I've always had pretty good discipline as far as football-wise and as far as coaches and people who is in charge of us to get us to where we wanted to be.

So...

Football has always been, like I said, it's always been something I've been playing and I've been very good at for a very long time.

And God willing, I'm going to keep trying until I can't no more.

Were you guys always competitive, like, from state-wise? Like, guys from the states where it's like Florida football is better than, like, Ohio football or, like, vice versa? Yeah.

Is there, like, a big rivalry

with that stuff? Yeah, 100%, but I'm not going to lie.

Growing up, I didn't really know too much about other states.

It was literally all Florida, really.

Yeah, yeah.

And it's like we was just talking.

It's so big, and there's so many different teams in Florida.

It's like you're just comparing yourself to who's the better team in Florida rather than who's the better team in another state.

Yeah.
