Thank you again for being with us today on Healthcare Leadership Excellence Podcast.

Earlier this year, I think it was around the 1st of February, I had a chance to take a remote learning course through the program on negotiation at Harvard with, um, Stevenson Carvok, who is part of their, uh, faculty.

One of the people on the call was our guest today, and she was kind enough afterwards to reach out.

Um, she has shared some of her materials, which we will get into today, and we're gonna hit two episodes here.

So today's episode one, and we will be recording episode two as soon as two busy schedules can coordinate.

And I just want to add, in our, in our meeting, the reason I reached out to you after that program, um, was because I was a fan, and I was a fan of your authenticity and how you described, um, how much you put into the work that you do.

So I just want to make it clear that, uh, you were fascinating and, uh, and that's why I reached out.

I, I'm never sure, and I say this jokingly, Kim, I'm never sure if when people say authentic it's, "Carl, you had no filters whatsoever, so I knew exactly what you were thinking," [laughs] or if it was actually I was authentic.
