Uh, I came up with the idea, I was going to speak at a state level conference, and I wanted to bring something other than the usual handouts, and it just popped into my head.

So I thought of the cards, and I write a lot on conflict, so I, I have some, some things I just really believe about conflict and conflict management skills.

I, I personally try to avoid using a term difficult person or difficult manager, uh, because I know base- going back to the ladder of inference, uh, if that's the label I put on someone, that's all I'm going to see.

And I think that all of us are difficult in our certain space, right? And I also think the degree that we're difficult and that we react to that difficult person the way we do, uh, i- is a bit of a trauma response for us, which is a, which is a whole nother conversation.
