This WIll SHAKE-UP The Hawks Roster... | Daily Hawks News & Rumors

Yahoo Sports and a couple different websites have been talking about a three-team deal that lands us a center.

And so let's get into that.

So, in this three-team deal ...

And look, we, we know that the center position has been a bit of an issue.

You know, like, we have a ton of talent and a ton of depth here.

Um, but we're missing, like, a, an, a big presence center.

Um, not that we need, like, someone w- who wears cement boots and just enforces, but just, like, a big presence in the lane.

Um, hoping that Jock Landale can step up a little bit on the physical end of that.

We've got Onyeka, who is more of an offensive-minded, decent defender, but not really gonna bang, gonna be down low, gonna really, um, you know, duke it out when we need someone in the lane, under the rim, to be tough, grab boards, and be an off ... be a defensive presence as well.

So, in this three-team trade, the Hawks would get Daniel Gafford, um, from the, uh, Mavericks.

Aaron Nesmith, I believe Aaron Nesmith is, would be coming over from the Pacers.

Um, Pacers would get Mas- Max Christie, Mohamed Gaye, 2029 second-round pick from Cleveland, and a 2030 second-round pick courtesy of the Knicks.

And the Mavericks only get Onyeka.

I don't, I don't know ...

I mean, he's a, he's tough.

He's definitely a bigger presence in the lane.

Averages aren't great, nine and seven.

Um, but he's definitely, like, a low post, like, traditional center.

Um, 6'10", not huge height either, not huge size.

Um, so I, I'm not ...

I don't know.

That, that one doesn't, like, really jump out for me.

I ...
