Jock Landale

Obviously, never say never in a world where Luka gets traded in the middle of the night by the Mavericks, but I think it's pretty safe to assume those guys are going to be staying put.

Jock Landale literally cannot be traded by league rule until January, so he's not going to get traded.

Um, Dorton Wiggins haven't played a game yet.

The Hawks could trade them, but I would guess the Hawks probably wouldn't want to do that unless there was a great opportunity that I don't necessarily foresee.

Yeah, their depth's okay.

Like, I think if Landale can stay on the court again, I think that's a nice little, uh, kinda change-up to go with the Onyeka fastball.

But anything you wanna add on, on the front court who, which, you know, that's kinda their w- they have, like, pretty good guard depth.

We talked about swapping out the forwards for guards.

Uh, the rebounding spiked a bit.

I think that's in part from, like, playing with these centers who aren't really big, you know, tr- truly big centers.

And I think Landale and Okongwu are still gonna allow a lot of defensive rebounding opportunities to just kinda fall to Jalen Johnson.

So, I think his fantasy, you know, success that he built on last season, his age 24 season, I think is likely to continue here in his age 25 season.

He wants to be a boomer for the 2028 Olympic Games.

And, you know, when we're looking at that depth chart on that Australian boomers roster, a fit and healthy and firing Ben Simmons as a foreman on that team with the likes of Josh Giddey, Dyson Daniels, potentially a Johnny Thursey and a Jock Landale, that starting four lineup is an all-NBA caliber lineup there as well around Ben Simmons and would do some damage, I think, in an Olympic or a World Cup campaign as well.

So I guess there's a lot of ways to look at this.

Nonetheless, though, I think it's exciting to see Ben back in the NBA.
