The inspiration for BEST OF THE BEST!

I know you're probably looking at the three-hour runtime on this episode and wondering what in the Joe Rogan is going on.

Today is a very, very special episode.

We are doing something on the show that we have never, ever done before.

We are releasing our first TV show, all episodes all at once.

That's right, your boy is becoming a media mogul.

Let me explain.

As you probably know by now, Prashanth and I wrote a dance movie called Best of the Best.

It comes out September 18th on Netflix.

This is the one time I'm asking you to do this.

Please do this.

I give you so much free content.

It stars Maitreyi Ramakrishnan and Priyanka Kedia.

It also has a new song from the one and only A. R. Rahman.

Now, ever since the Best of the Best trailer came out, something interesting keeps happening to me.

A lot of my non-South Asian friends keep asking me where we came up with this idea for this movie, and I ask, "What do you mean? You know, the movie, the whole college Bollywood dance competition.

Where did you come up with the idea for that?" Here's the thing: we didn't.

This is a PSA to all of our non-South Asian allies whom we love, and I would love for you to watch the movie September 18th only on Netflix.

Please send it to all your other non-South Asian friends.

The competitive Bollywood dance circuit is a very real thing.

These are real college kids competing in a real dance circuit.

Over 150 colleges in the United States, from the Ivys to the safety schools, all have dance teams.

We are talking Illinois, Rutgers, Stanford, Northwestern, NYU, UMich, Georgia Tech, Drexel, UT Dallas, Arizona State, all the UC schools.

[beep] UC Merced has a South Asian dance team.

UC Merced has a 95% acceptance rate.

They have lower standards than the Olympic breakdancing committee.
