Los Angeles Clippers 2026-27 NBA Season Lookahead

What is up, fellow Sickos? I am Dan Favale, coming at you with yet another 2026-2027 NBA season look ahead.

We are onto the Los Angeles Clippers, and I have the distinct pleasure of being joined by a first-time guest, so they have absolutely no idea what they're getting into.

Mr. Robert Flom.

He is the managing editor of 213 Hoops and the co-host of The Lob, The Jam podcast.

Excellent podcast name.

Um, reading it, like out loud gets a little confusing, but The Lob, The Jam is an excellent podcast name.

Uh, Robert, thank you so much for agreeing to come on.

How the heck are you doing?

Dan, thank you for having me on.

It is, it's great.

Um, things are, things are good.

The NBA season is right around the corner.

Um, we were talking a little before the pod, but this is the time of year where you're excited.

You're just excited about basically every team in the league, it's, except maybe the Sacramento Kings, I'm, I'm excited to watch even then, you know, Darius Acuff.

Uh, but yeah, it's like everybody's excited.

Everybody thinks their team is gonna be good.

Nobody really knows what's gonna happen for, like a large chunk of the league.

The NBA's made some rules changes.

It's very exciting.

Personally, not much going on, but um, you know, the NB- the NBA is a lot of what, what's going on for me personally, so I'm excited, uh, excited for the season to be almost here.

Uh, just as an addendum to the intro, find the links to The Lob, The Jam podcast and 213 Hoops will be in our podcast and YouTube description, as always.

I wanted to start here, though, with a question for you.

Just given everything that's happened, from Paul George leaving couple years back, to these mid-season James Harden and Ivica Zubac trades, to the Kawhi Leonard aspiration fallout, the Kawhi Leonard trade, what is the general sentiment coming out of Clippers fans right now? How are they feeling about, about this team? I guess at a macro level, but even the micro level-

Sure

... of leading into this season?
