I mean, obviously it's not something to think about this season, but Keaton Wagler not only is going to get more minutes, especially with the Jordan Miller injury and Kawhi being gone, but we kind of need him to develop.

And I think it forces Ty Lue and the coaching staff to play him more than maybe they envisioned this season because his development has to be, and I think he will come off the bench, but his development has to be prioritized this season because even if it comes at the expense of a couple of wins.

That's the reality because we need this guy to be great.

If Keaton Wagler is a star, then we're going to be okay.

And I think most Clipper fans are leaning towards 9 or 10.

But it forces Keaton Wagler now to be more aggressive for his development to be accelerated.

And for all we know, Ty Lue could be like, I don't care.

I still just want to make the playoffs.

Is that the right choice for the team? Is it the right choice for Kawhi? Or I'm sorry, for Ty? And even if Ty is a great championship coach, do you need someone for the in-between years to help you develop talent? Yeah.

So I certainly think that Ty Lue has the skills and expertise and knowledge to sort of get the most out of this team or any team if this team is trying to get to 500, trying to get to the play-in tournament again.

But I guess what I would say is he has enough years left on his deal that you might as well let him go through this season and see how it goes and decide later.

And then you've got the young guys like Keaton Wagler, who we're hoping can give this team something a little early, And, you know, kind of build something.

So you've got Ty Lue putting it all together.

So if Ingrid can come in, stay healthy, especially after playing a career-high 77 games last season, which is incredible considering, you know, the state of today's league.

And if he's able to give you something around that 23, 24, and maybe even 25-point range.

Yeah, which I guess he can do.

I mean, you may imagine Ty Lue and Jeff Van Gundy, they're going to be on a pretty good wicket for the next little while just to keep them there because they need to retain that sort of stuff.

Otherwise, the whole thing, you know, as we said the other week, you might as well move it to Seattle or drag it offshore and sink it,

whatever your preference is.

Kenny Atkinson, the guy who said analytically they want a series that they got swept in.

And then let's go to, like, okay, this is a different conversation because I think Tyronn Lue is a really good head coach, but that team is in a mess right now.

Yes, at some point along the way, whether that's this year or the next or the next, he's going to slide into the conversation with those guys because of the level of expectations that are there.

Would that work? I don't know.

Now that I'm thinking about it, I don't know that will work for Ty Lue.
