A day after Pauline Hanson's One Nation claimed victory in the secret harbour by a far-right march for Australia, protests were held across the country on Sunday.

The anti-immigration protests were organised by an alliance of ultra-conservatives, far-right influencers and neo-Nazi groups, but were met with counter-protests that condemned racism, misogyny, transphobia and fascism.

The counter protests came off the back of the huge student walkouts against Pauline Hanson a few weeks ago, and there's more anti-racist demonstrations planned over the next few weeks.

With less than 24 hours notice, more than 100 mostly young people organised a vibrant protest on August 28 to show Pauline Hanson and One Nation that they are not welcome in Toronto, New South Wales, south of Newcastle.

Toronto high school students, youth rising and others lined the footpath at the Toronto Hotel where Hanson was holding a $1,000 a head fundraising dinner for One Nation's CESTOC candidates.

Many of the soldiers have been actively involved, perpetrating genocide and war crimes in Gaza.

Many runners gave a thumbs up or raised their fist to show their support for the Palestine Solidarity protests as they ran by.

The film was the first to be screened by the new Red Cinema Group at the Resistance Centre and explores the relationships between Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels in the lead-up to the publication of the Communist Manifesto.
