Celebrate America’s Military: Cavender Auto Group, USAA, and SeaWorld San Antonio on Serving Military City USA

So let's talk CAM, 55th Annual CAM Event Series here in San Antonio.

Let's talk about our kickoff event that's going to be our gala on Friday, November 6th, our Spirit of America dinner.

That's going to be emceed by our friend Randy Beamer, the host of On the Record on KLRN.

What an absolute icon that's going to be emceeing, and we couldn't be happier to have him leading our event.

And our guest speaker is going to be just really wonderful.

We've got Lieutenant General Retired Brad Webb.

Brad Webb is a retired...

United States Air Force Lieutenant General, three-star general.

He served his last tour as the commander right here at JBSA Randolph as the commander of Air Education and Training Command.

Prior to that, career aviator, career special operator, was a commander of Air Force Special Operations Command and the deputy commander of Joint Special Operations Command.

And one of the things he's going to talk about with his journey is in this, our America 250 year, this, our 25th anniversary after 9-11, A lot of people may recognize Lieutenant General Webb from an iconic photo that he's in because when he was serving as Deputy Commander of Special Operations Command, he was a part of that operation where we successfully neutralized Osama bin Laden.

And Brad was in that iconic photo in the White House Situation Room with President Obama and the National Command Authority.

So he's going to walk us through that journey.

the rest of his military career that culminated with command in San Antonio.

And he just might talk a little bit about the rock band that he's a lead guitarist in.

Real Renaissance man, and we couldn't be happier to have Brad hosting this event.

But, you know, Dean, I know you've attended a number of our Spirit of America dinners.

And talk about the vibe.

Talk about the passion that happens at those events.

Well, you know, I think it's an incredible evening to kick off the start of CAM.

So it just brings everybody together.

You see a lot of our military that will come out, our active duty military that will come out in uniform.

You see a ton of community leaders that just want to overall support the military.

And it just brings everybody really truly together to kick off the 11 days of festivities that are going to go on around the city.

And there's no other better place to do it than here in Military City, USA.
