United States Army North

Mika, good morning.

This document, which was obtained by the National Immigration Law Center via Freedom of Information Act request and shared with me, is an after-action review prepared by, uh, the unit of the Army Northern Command that was in charge of the National Guard troops that were put under federal control over the objections of California's governor by Donald Trump back in the summer of 2025, when we had these big sweeping indiscriminate ICE raids in the LA area that led to weeks of protests.

We all remember when Trump deployed the National Guard troops to LA and the surrounding area, but up until now, what we knew about the troops' involvement in these operations was relatively minimal.

They sort of stood on the sidelines, established security perimeters, et cetera.

A- and the British have also come through Taranto as well and built up, um, 8th Army.

The US 5th Army, which also contains some British troops as well, has gone up the, the western side of Italy.

Basically, there's four roads going up through the n- up, up, up the leg of Italy.

There's, there's two in the middle.
