Air Force Special Operations Command

Pretty interesting dude.

A lot of AFSOC background and experience.

But we talked about BMT, basic military training, which the number of people that walked up to the booth and said, what is BMT? Like they thought it was a company.

Was astounding.

You are more qualified to be Secretary of War than Tagseth.

Worked with Fortune 2000 C-suite biotechs, providing strategic guidance and competitive intelligence, founded and ran Warrior School, providing discrete training to whole units of CIA, DIA, NSA, SOCOM, AFSOC, Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, and Coast Guard, retired Army military intelligence officer who served in psychological operations and special forces, foreign operations group, defense intelligence agency, ex-DEA special agent, snowcap operator, and whistleblower, serial entrepreneur, lifetime martial artist, chaplain, firearms instructor, published author, prolific podcaster.

He was a qualified JTAC, TACP.

on the special operations side of the house, worked in AFSOC.

And they wanted him to be in this tier of guys.

They grabbed operators.

At that point, I'm going on three and a half years on station in Omaha, probably close to five years in service at this point.

There is a opportunity, once you have hit a career milestone back then, if you had a minimum rank and a minimum number of flying hours in this career field, you could volunteer to be assessed to go and work for Air Force Special Operations.

So I had just met my now wife and I told her, I said, I know we just met, but I have my eyes on this place down in Florida.

It's called Herbert Field.

We used to vacation down there when I was a family and I remember driving down Highway 98 in the panhandle of Florida and seeing this sign that said the home of Air Force Special Operations.

Well, on one of my very first, on that very first rotation for the RC-135s, When I came back, I we did a stopover in Germany.

And while I was there, an AC-130 gunship crew was staying at the air crew building where we were.

And I'm like, holy cow.

It's like, I don't know if they're tracking the...

For the upgrade to the Medal of Honor, and we've talked about this before, it was a team at AFSOC that spent a crazy amount of time...

I know two of the

officers that work, like,

You know what I mean? So there's, there's issues.

There's a very high bar for this one and it's because of the drama surrounding it.

Now, Peaches, as an AFSOC plank holder, you've been around a really long time.

Like a long, long time.

I didn't really talk about much while it was going on.

I'm going to zoom in on this guy on a live stream because a very highly ranking non-commissioned officer, the command chief of Air Force Special Operations Command went on trial.

And yes, it was for child porn.

Now, first thing that jumps out at me, and for those of you guys on the stream, you can see him.

... from the Air Force Special Operations Command.

And it's just for, uh, uh, just to, to, to, you know, make the s- the single point of it, this incredible success is really in many ways a story, a story of a whole series of failures.

But the people involved just pushed through each one of them.

And I think that's why these career fields are different.

I think that's why Air Force Special Forces, Special Operations Forces, Air Force Special Operations, the entire umbrella that we live in, Air Force Special Warfare, it's just different.

And I can't explain it.

And maybe I'm speaking out of school.
