Hey.

And we have Jack Stevenson from SeaWorld San Antonio.

How are you all doing?

Good.

Absolutely.

So first of all, we are super, super excited to be hosting this very special group.

And also, it's a very special night for us because it is the kickoff, first night of Christmas celebration at SeaWorld San Antonio.

So I can't think of any better way to get the party started with us.

So I stay away from that kind of stuff.

The last roller coaster down at San Antonio SeaWorld 30 years ago, 29 years ago.

Nobody in the family would ride.

I had a niece, 14 at the time.

We had some short lines, and there was a bunch of fun seasonal event stuff going on, which did make up for a little bit of rain.

So Six Flags Fiesta Texas is offering their Fright Fest event, as well as a daytime event celebrating trick-or-treat and Oktoberfest, and then SeaWorld San Antonio is celebrating the 25th anniversary of Howl-O-Scream.

They've got mazes, scare zones, and in the daytime, SeaWorld Spooktacular, which is also a trick-or-treat event.

And then one of the reasons we also came down is 'cause they have the exclusive Shamu Rocks midnight...

The park was purchased, and the, the new owners, which happened to be the owners of SeaWorld at the time, decided to rebrand into something a little more sophisticated-sounding.

So they ditched the circus theme and, and went into a more traditional theme park theme with, um, Boardwalk and Baseball.

And it's funny because they had a Boardwalk and Baseball themed area at SeaWorld Texas, now SeaWorld San Antonio, um, which was one of, like, several neighborhoods inside SeaWorld of Texas that helped make it the largest, uh, marine life park in the world when it opened in 1988.

Um, it also had a Cypress Gardens area, which is now the waterpark, and that was the other other park that the original SeaWorld owners owned at the time.

Okay, this is a story of a different kind of killer.

It's February 24th, 2010, and we're in Orlando, Florida, at SeaWorld.

Oh.

And a trainer named Dawn Brancheau is performing with one of the park's many orcas, or Shamu whales.

This whale's name is Tilikum, and Dawn will be the third person whose death is attributed to Tilikum.

This is the story of Tilikum, the killer whale who killed three people before SeaWorld finally stopped letting trainers get in the water with killer whales.

Oh, my God.

The icy.

And the all-new Fear photo op drops guests into three haunted houses.

SeaWorld San Antonio's Hollow Scream marks its 25th year with three new houses.

SeaWorld San Antonio's Hollow Scream marks its 25th year in 2026 with three all-new haunted houses and a whole event is included with park admission rather than as a separate ticket.

Aloe Scream runs select nights from September 11th through November 1st.

These nights fall on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and the event starts at 7pm and runs to park close, with the park open from 6pm.

So this forced the government to realize that they weren't going to magically get these animals to a non-existent functioning sanctuary or to whatever they magically thought would happen and suddenly save all the animals and let them live amazing, perfect lives that are exactly what the Canadian government pictured.

So they approved a plan to move the animals to a variety of accredited facilities, including Shedd Aquarium, the Georgia Aquarium, SeaWorld San Antonio, SeaWorld San Diego, and Oceanografic Valencia in Spain.

And all of these are AZA-accredited facilities.

Once the government approved the transfers, the process of rescuing the animals from marine land began.
