Probably, like, the next couple episodes we're just gonna do a whole deep dive on James, okay? That's how we're gonna start it off.

'Cause one thing I really, really do want to implement and work harder, like, to include on these podcasts, are actually studying the Bible.

Okay, I know that probably sounds silly 'cause you're like, we talk about the Bible, we talk about verses, we talk about everyday life.

Yes, but the whole premise of me starting the podcast that I feel like I drifted a little bit away from in season one was, like, actually reading the Bible and studying the actual, like, takeaways.

Um, so just know that in season two we're gonna do a lot more reading, so I hope y'all have a good Bible.

I'm gonna be reading you guys, um, James today and over the next few episodes from my Hosanna Revival Bible.

Um, if you've been following me a wh- for a while, you know why, but if not, I'll tell you really quick.

We've got so many really cool, like, inserts, and just, like, information in here.

There's just so much information that kind of keeps you, like, engaged in your Bible.

I don't know if you guys ever experienced this, but when I would be reading out of any old, like, Bible, I would find myself, like, grabbing my phone to, like, research things, maybe certain words.

Um, you know, maybe I would be like, for example, maybe I'm reading James and I'm like, "Where is this even, like, set? Like, where are we in this? You know, when was it written, and who was it written for, you know, back in the day? Who wrote it?" You know? James is a little bit s- silly, because James wrote it.

So the cool thing about the Application Study Bible that I have from Hosanna Revival is that everything you need to know is right there, like, on the page.

Um, the only other thing you really need is a notebook, because with the Application Study Bible, there's so in- so much information in it that there aren't, you know, little spaces on the side or at the bottom to write, um, which a lot of my other Bibles have that.

They're, like, journal, you know, journal the word Bibles, so they have spaces to journal in.

Um, so usually I'll have, like, a notebook to the side as well, but I like that it doesn't have me, like, reaching for my phone and, like, googling or chatting, you know, something.

What does this mean, and what is the explanation of this? Um, because everything's right there.

And another thing I really like about it is that when you are reading- Um, you can, like, go to the bottom of the page, and it'll break down the verses.
