Quickie recap of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, season 5 episode 2

Jesse is telling them I'm like a single mom right now because Jordan is in California filming a cooking show.

But her and Jen want some updates from Taylor like Jesse's like last time I talked to you, you were about to go to happy couple like what happened with that? And Taylor's like, oh, I called it off.

And she basically tells us that going into their first like visit together, she decided to break it off.

And Taylor says that, like, her heart is leaning towards Ben and that seeing him is the goal.

So then when they're all, like, sitting together, Layla is there and she's wanting an update.

So she hasn't really talked to Taylor and she finds out about her engagement and breaking it off like in this one moment.

And she tells us that she feels like Taylor is downplaying cheating and that there is this like dopamine rush that you can get in toxic relationships.

I do think on this show and in life, we a lot of times use the word toxic to replace the word abusive.

And yeah, I imagine that it's true that when you're in an abusive relationship and there are like Moments of reprieve from your torment.

But he's like, you know, it just seems like The Bachelor almost didn't happen as far as like your romantic life.
