I used to love her.

I was like, "This woman is made for s- for reality TV." I wanted to see that s- that, that, uh, season of The Bachelorette that she was gonna be on.

Like, she's a little awkward, but she's feisty.

She's, like, hot.

Yeah, Maddie and Grant.

Grant was on The Bachelorette and he was

for a rose and Maddie came out of nowhere.

Well, that's the thing.

Taylor Frankie Paul had Bachelorette.

That was like the biggest spinoff for

one of them.

This is why I love this show.

Because I got the old runner-up to The Bachelorette dancing to...

And he is just out here just doing his thing.

And I guess I don't know what I was expecting.

I can like see, okay, essentially this season was meant to be the storyline from when they wrapped filming of The Bachelorette until it premiered.

And then it got cut halfway through.

I think we all know that because of the drama with Taylor and Dakota and the investigation that followed and shut production down.

We sure do.

Megan already touched on this, but I'm just going to reiterate that this season is only five episodes because production was paused with the whole Taylor, Frankie, Paul, Dakota situation.

And we actually have an episode from a few months back where we break down the cancellation of The Bachelorette and the events leading up to it.

And that was very fresh, like right when it was canceled.

First, let's start with the package.

did so well as a contestant on the show never ever once being a lead and then has gotten to the point where he doesn't even feel like it behooves him to go back on the show because he's so popular that he doesn't even want to risk his reputation by going back on again me and Stephanie used to say you know the only way you can go is down with these shows once you get a good edit like you're not going to get a good edit the next time but he had launched to such a high level that he didn't even need the show anymore so what does he need mean that he lost himself during The Bachelorette I didn't like that and it made me feel like they're kind of trying to rewrite like a victim narrative for him for this dating show that those of us that watched it know is simply just not there anyway though now to his dance at first I was like he takes so he's doing his dance la-di-da-di-da he takes his shirt off and I go oh my god he's baiting us with the t-shirt off like that's a cheap shot because He's very hot.
