Prayer and Leading Your Family

So tell us about what's going on around Good Life.

We're going to tackle today the next two components of what it means to lead your family well.

But what's been happening around the traps, around the backyards in the last week or so?

Well, there was a winter strategy of evangelism, which was power to the people, Jack, which was the fire pits.

And so there's been a bunch of those.

You want to connect your people from your connect group or Christians that you know from Good Life Church with a couple of people that aren't from Good Life Church.

That culminated.

We actually had a men's.

And so we've seen a lot of people come to church, Jack.

I mean, our winter numbers, especially for the AM service, are astronomical.

And so we're gearing up for a huge spring and summer.

It's like everyone's active and going hard.

Like normally I would find the Newcastle winter, people go into hibernation and eventually come out at spring at Father's Day.

But it's like there's been no hibernation.

People are so stoked and filled with joy.

faith and fire.

Prayer meetings have just been jam-packed and there's a lot of faith ready to go.

But the bonfire we had, we put the men together, I had a word that I needed to share just with the men of Good Life Church.

And so on the journey of stepping up to be a good man of God, to be a man, a leader of your home or a potential, a future leader of a home, You need to actually face up to the temptations that are just standard issue going to come our way.

And so how to stand, I wanted to walk that through.

I think we should not be casual with sin.

We should not be casual with our temptation arc.

We should be men who are able to be uplifted, encouraged, but also challenged by other men in our world.

Significant people are going to hold us to account to be wise.

all we can be.
