What Shall I Cry?

Send us Fan Mail What you cry determines whether you carry your own voice or God’s message. This episode unpacks Isaiah’s haunting question, "What shall I cry?" and turns it into a urgent call for believers to speak the eternal word of God in a world full of temporary noise. WILFRED traces the meaning of "cry" as proclaim, declare, and announce, then confronts the danger of speaking from personal ambition, false visions, or a message God never sent. Using Isaiah 40, Jeremiah 23, Ezekiel 13, Galatians 1:8, and other key passages, he draws a sharp line between faithful proclamation and self-made prophecy. You’ll discover: why the real issue is not whether you have something to say, but whether God sent it how Scripture warns against messages that come from the heart instead of the Lord. why every Christian is called to proclaim the gospel, not just ministry leaders what it means to preach fearlessly, relentlessly, and in season or out of season how Paul, the prophets, and the apostles model bold obedience under pressure This is a message for anyone who feels called to speak, teach, preach, encourage, or share their faith but wants to do it with clarity and conviction. It challenges the listener to stop chasing applause, stop repeating empty words, and start carrying the gospel with courage. If you need a reminder that human glory fades but the word of the Lord stands forever, this episode will sharpen your focus and stir your faith.
