Giants-Cardinals Preview Week 4 | 218

So usually I have a very clear plan of like, all right, let's do Giants offense or Giants defense first.

Which way do you want to attack this? Because I'm going to tell you, do we want to go about the Cardinals offense, which I have? I actually not saying they're amazing or anything, but I have a lot of respect for them or the Cardinals defense, which I don't have respect for them.

But the Giants need the Giants need to play a certain way.

Which one do you want to hit first?

I think I think we should start by talking about the offense for the Giants, because I think I think scoring points is on everybody's mind.

Two weeks with no touchdowns.

I think people will probably want to know how we can possibly score against

you.

You're not going to win this game by scoring 14 points.

I'll say that.

And I'm glad you said that because that's how I formatted my notes.

I didn't want to change that.

So the Cardinals' defense is 24th in points per game allowed.

They're 29th in each paper play.

We'll start with the passing offense for the Giants.

So the Cardinals' passing defense, 23rd in passing yards, 31st in net yards per attempt, 30th in passing.

Like, they give up explosives, right? They are, you know, top of the league of giving up explosive plays.

But for the Giants mindset-wise going into this game, this kind of branches off of our mailbag a little bit.

And now this is the second game for Jameis Winston starting.

We'll see if there's rain.

We'll have a weather report here in a little bit.

But I don't think that's an excuse.

I'm not advocating for a pass-happy game plan.

But you can't call a conservative passing offense when you do drop back, or you will lose this game.

Like, unless you just have a flat-out dominant run game, which is possible.
