So we always have to discuss some guys that had big injuries and they're trying to rebound off of it this year, no pun intended, but there's always a bunch of the headline title guys and we always want to get into those too.
So I think one of the biggest guys coming out for me personally would be Kyrie Irving.
He's coming off of a ACL tear.
I think that he sat out all last season.
So, uh, I don't know, Dalton, if Kyrie's coming back and he says he's healthy, if he gives you the green light, where are you at with him? Where do you see him drafting? Do you think he's a 40-point player? What's your synopsis on Kyrie if he comes back all green lights?
So the thing is, even with green lights, right, they'll still probably have some minor restrictions.
So it is something to note.
We're talking workload possibly, possibly back-to-backs.
So we do always have to take into account, even if he says he's healthy, the organization might still try to slow him down, at least at the beginning of the season a little bit, right? At worst case, I know we all heard the trade rumors swirling around.
He might, he may not get traded.
They're going to want to use that when he can up his value is what I'm saying.
So don't expect too much the first few weeks, like a week or two maybe, but I do think that you can still get him for a decent discount round two or three, truthfully.
Like if he's really your guy, go for him in two i think you can slip by in three though there's still a lot of great guards that are going to go long before kairi does but i'm comfortable even coming back from that acl tear probably getting him around round three and being like hey that's a great starting guard i'm content with that and you'll know you'll probably get 65 games out of the guy 60 65
so do you think he's a 40 point player 45 point player what's the steal that i should be taking him in the late second round or third round what's the value there
i i think his floor probably hits like 37 38 we're talking like slow start you know what i mean maybe a restriction or two and he'll probably jump up a little bit more later in the season so we're talking like beginning the season probably like 36 38 points like he'll come off a few heaters he'll get 50 points at one point or 60 and that'll up his value but i think beginning the season probably 35 36 Towards the end of that season, I think you can expect him to be anywhere between 40 and 45, truthfully.
You think Kyrie will start the season on 35 points?
I think just for the few couple games he starts to heat up, yeah.
I think you could easily see him for the first week or two going at 35, which secretly, I think that's when you hit him for value.
If you're looking to trade for Kyrie, try to get him the early one.
Because like I said, I think he'll start slow and speed up at the end of the season.
And that's where he'll hit that 40 to 45 stride.
Which for a guard is never bad, because that means if the ceiling is 90, their floor is 38 that night.
And I'm fine with that.
Okay, so you're saying slow start for Kyrie Irving coming back, but he still has that potential to hit that 40-45 mark.
I see that too, and I 100% agree with that.
