Unfiltered Fridays – Episode 14 – FTS Betslip 29th May 2026

Lots of this was covered there, but I did genuinely feel a bit sorry for...

West Ham fans at the weekend, which was kind of surprising.

I certainly didn't think I'd feel that anxious, and obviously relief at staying up.

More for financial reasons than the football reasons.

I think Tottenham would have been in real trouble.

But West Ham, equally going to be in trouble, saddled with debt.

Two clubs horribly managed.

And I think if I'd been 7th, 8th and West Ham had gone down, I probably would have been like, oh, let's take the piss.

But having been down, experiencing that situation the last few months...

I do feel a bit sorry for them.

I think it's a terrible situation for those clubs to be down there.

But we did manage to survive and it will be interesting to see what both clubs do from here.

West Ham will probably lose some players.

need to battle to come back up looks like Nuno's staying and Spurs need to just change the way they operate and there's a lot of positive talk coming out of Spurs it'll be interesting to see what that turns into action congrats to Sunderland I thought absolutely brilliant achievement for Sunderland to get European football I said at the start of the season the golf's getting bigger the three clubs may well go back down I think for Leeds to stay up Fark's done an excellent job there and Sunderland incredible absolutely incredible probably should have been sent off against us but absolutely incredible what they've done there so full credit to them great set of fans well done to Palace this week winning that it's not a tournament that I agree with or am any fan with I'm not going to be hypocritical and say that I do just because Palace have won it I'm pleased for Palace fans who went out and had a day out We got a couple on FTS and they're good lads and enjoyed it.

But I just don't agree with any of you.

I just don't agree with football.

I mean, we had...

I'll come back on to a bit of racism following last week's pod again.

But we had people leaping up and down not too long ago about players stopping for...

Ramadan, people absolutely leaping up and down about it.

We actually stopped a game at the weekend.

Mid-game.

I mean, I haven't seen this because I can't watch it because I will just erupt.

We stopped a game mid-game to give a guard of honour to a couple of players who were packing up, didn't we? At Man City Villa.

And no one's batting an eyelid.
