You know, and a lot of people don't realize if you live on the East Coast, a lot of your power is coming from Canada.
Yeah.
So we're in a big problem right now.
And again, you know, the politicians, you know what they do? They just keep, Oh, we're going to fund something else.
And they can't get their act together about funding, you know, the grid system.
I'm sorry to cut you off, but yeah, it would be nice if we had, you know, left and right got together and said, Hey, we're all Americans.
And we all use electricity and it's a fundamental right, I think, that we have and a need because it helps us get the food that we need and the water to be pumped to where it needs to go and hospitals and medical care and everything we need for life in 2026.
And to me, that should be like one of the top priorities, not some of the other priorities that various politicians will say that are important.
Well, you know, back was about two years ago, Texas almost lost their whole grid.
I think that was in 2023 and like 200 and I think 250 people or so died because there was a freeze there.
the grid went down and they had people who they had frozen the water you know when water freezes it expands just a little bit that's why it floats uh icebergs float and ice floats in your ice tea because it's lighter than the the liquid and that it's floating in and so the the water in toilets expanded a little bit because so cold inside the house and it you know basically cracked the porcelain on the toilets and it cracked pipes and all kinds of damage.
So if you're disabled or you're elderly or you're kind of in a vulnerable position, Without heat and no power and everybody's kind of running around scared, that's not something I would want to experience personally.
Well, again, I'm worried about this winter because they're talking about it is going to be really bad.
The storms are going to be hit right now, I guess, coming here in the very near future, like next week or so.
And then it's going to work into the Middle East, all the way up in a lot of rain.
