So I am in East London, a place called the Old Spotted Yacht Ground, and it's the oldest football ground in London.

It's the home of Clapton Community Football Club, who have been going since 2018, and they're playing against New York International, who's a like-minded progressive club from the American city.

It's an interesting place, it's just a small footprint between victorian housing and you can hear the scaffold which is a group of hardcore fans singing their songs often inspired by european ultra soon there are banners to black lives matter and stonewall and flags palestine catalan independence flags the basque flag and as we record Clapton have just scored direct from a free kick great timing but no it's a really wonderful little club and there's a little sign that says we are Clapton always anti-fascist it's something that's really popped up recently in recent years how independent clubs are really progressing and attracting crowds of four or five hundred at a time when Other clubs, especially elite level, are becoming very unattractive.
