Anyway, I thought we could do a little thing about, uh, a comeback story, 'cause remember last year we had a podcast where me and Andrew were canoe fishing for muskie, and we did a live podcast on the water, and one of the main events of that day, not only did we catch a few muskie, but we did see a magnificent bird.
But it got me thinking, it seems like the last few years I've seen more bald eagles than I had in the decades before that, and there's obviously a reason for that.
But b- before we start this, just because I know the Average Joe's Fishing Show is a bit more north of us, do you guys see bald eagles a lot up there?
I agree with what you said.
When I was a kid, didn't see them.
It was a rarity to see them.
Now we have one living.
It's been here for a few years near the lake, and you see a lot more now for sure.
So in southern Ontario wildlife, for a long time the bald eagles were almost gone, like almost extinct in the area, and there was one time when, like you said, if you saw one it would be like, just like a rare thing.
You're like, "Oh my goodness, I saw a bald eagle," and no one would believe you, and you're like, "I promise it was a bald eagle.
It wasn't a seagull," right? But now you just see them all the time, and I, I remember me and Andrew, like you saw one down in the Toronto Harbor, the Toronto Islands area.
