I mean, if you pay good money for something, I mean, you're going to ride it until it can't be rid no more.

We were debating, do we use the Hillary clip or some of Ilhan Omar with Chris Hayes on MS Now? There's a funny note that strikes me.

And if somebody like me was to interview Donald Trump or Mike Johnson or you name it, Republican, it's, oh, in a softball interview on conservative talk radio show first thing today.

But when somebody like Ilhan Omar sits down with Chris Hayes, who—I mean, he makes Rachel Maddow look journalistic.

all of the partisan crazy of Chris Matthews without that little voice in the back of his head every now and then said, you're supposed to be a journalist.

He's like that sports talk intern that worked for the famous sports reporter who had covered everything from Mickey Mantle to Tiger Woods and then retires and his intern gets the job and has absolutely no idea how his boss did what he did, which is bad if you're going to mentor somebody.

Mentioned Ilhan Omar dismissed the allegations that she married her brother, which wasn't the current allegations, but Omar was on MS Now and Chris Hayes asked her that tough question.

Did you marry your brother? And she said, actually was asked if there was any weird kernel of truth to which she said no.

Hayes seemed to avoid the question of if her dad was actually a citizen and if she was actually 17 when she applied.

Russia said Wednesday it was ready to resume trilateral talks with Ukraine and the United States after Vladimir Putin met with U.S. envoy Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff and freed a detained American, Stephen Hubbard.

Kremlin warned after Witkopf's meeting with Putin in St. Petersburg there was little substance in the Ukraine and Europe peace proposal.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said he hoped for a positive outcome of the meetings and the trilateral sit-downs that are proposed with China, but he does say that he thinks Ukraine should be in it.

Russia freed the American Stephen Hubbard, who was jailed for more than four years on charges of fighting as a mercenary for Ukraine.
