I knew this wasn't just about a few moves that we can do to look fancy on Instagram, and that is so fantastic.

So really, your life's work, your purpose, is about empowerment and empowering a woman to step into her purpose and her confidence.

In the pre-interview chat, you shared even a couple of examples that I wanna dive into, which I wasn't expecting.

I was like, you know, "Tell me about what you do," and you said, "If someone is feeling like they're being taken advantage of in a business relationship and someone is, you know, being a little bit too personal or..." A- a- and I was like, "Oh, wow.

[laughs] Wasn't expecting that." Or I even saw on your Instagram you, uh, did a post about if there's a, a, a guy who's, like, a little too touchy during photos.

He's so touchy." I'm like, "I'm about to say something to, like, the, the staff who works here." I'm like, "But I don't wanna be that person." I'm like, "So I need your tips too," like real time.

So, so, like, share with us a little bit what is required, not just from a self-defense standpoint [laughs] but-

... from the confidence and mindset of, okay, yeah, let's talk about work and a, a colleague-type relationship, and it seems to be getting uncomfortable.

So I, after so many years of research, I realized that we are complete beings who need physical skills, we need mental skills, and we need emotional skills.

Because the thing is, if you only learn how to fight, then when you're in those social interaction moments, then you don't know what to do because- Are you gonna fight them?

The situation has not escalated to the point where, like, a fan asked to take a photo with you or, you know, you hosted a group for a retreat or something, and now people are too touchy, and you start feeling really uncomfortable, but you don't know what to do because it's not like your life is in danger.

But those little moments, they accumulate, and they start generating anxiety.

Maybe there's an event we wanna go, but we know that guy from work is gonna be there, so we're like, "Oh, I don't wanna be there." So with you, for example, the easiest thing is to use our voice, but it's also the hardest.
