As we've said, it is the Seattle Seahawks, the reigning Super Bowl champions, hosting the New England Patriots, who they defeated in Super Bowl 60 just seven short months ago.
Over-under for this is 44 and a half.
How are we seeing this match-up, gents? What are the key areas? What do we think of this match-up that we've got on Wednesday night?
Yeah, I think the biggest key area is the trench.
And it may be a bit cliche, but we've seen in the Super Bowl, Seahawks basically had their way with the Patriots' offensive line.
And he stands out because he's on the biggest stage of all.
Obviously, we've made some additions on the O-line.
Lost Boyer-Maffei to the Bengals, but replaced him with Dante Fowler, which I think is pretty like-for-like.
Patriots obviously improved massively at their past catches.
Romeo Dobbs comes in as wide receiver two.
And I think, you know, whether Drake may not get enough time to pass the ball, we will see.
But certainly the weapons are improved.
excellent joe what do you think was you outside nfc west man uh where do you kind of think the seahawks are and do you think the patriots will be closer to them uh this time than they were when they played in the super bowl
yeah i think if the seahawks defense carries on how they were end of last year then this could be another blowout um in type of game like firing mentioned they haven't lost too much they also lost a woolen entry agency as well and with nick and warwick questionable so i think that's huge because he he was like their best player with AJ Brown and Dobbs being there as well, now in New England.
Every year we always talk about when he was in the Jets that they've got this young, uprising offensive line, and he was one of the main men and always excited about, but just couldn't stay fit.
So can he stay fit and help that Drake May actually control the ball.
Because the game in the spring, in the bowling game, quite a lot of the points was scored in the fourth quarter.
