Ep 1 Burn of the Everflame: Chapters 1-14

So to start off every episode, Nicole does us the honor of summarizing this stretch of chapters.

So gather round as we consult with our royal advisors to discuss what happens in chapters one through 14 of Burn of the Everflame.

Chapter one, my boy Luther.

It's been one month since the events of Heat of the Everflame, and Luther is slowly losing his mind.

But Aurélie knows a way that they can pass the time in their Guardian camp.

Let's test Teller's new flame root invention on Luther and see how effective it is.

Okay, so maybe that wasn't a good suggestion to give to the male who's struggling with the fact that he left the love of his life on an island that he can never return to.

Chapter two, Luther.

Alarm, alarm, a Crown is here.

The Queen of Arboros, not here to start a fight, oh no, she's here to deliver an invitation.

Unlike the one we got in the mail, this one isn't torn to shreds and missing pieces.

Penn.

The Queen of Arboros brings the invitation from the Crowns to negotiate with the Guardians, because that's definitely something the Crowns know how to do.

Just ask Diem.

Chapter three, Luther.

Things are heating up at the Guardian camp, and this time it's not Luther's fault.

Aurélie and Dell are fighting over the best course of action with the invitation, but Luther and Aurélie are already in alignment.

They wait it out until the Crowns have a better offer or until they free Diem.

Boom, easy.

Chapter four.

[laughs] Are your ears a-ringing? It's Diem.

Diem is alive.

Huzzah.

Who would have known? But life on the island sucks giant hanging balls.

No food, no water, no nothing.
