Obzen is at the bottom of my list.
And it's a great song.
It's a great physical and technical achievement.
I get why people lose their shit about it.
I'm also over it.

It's an hour long.
I've got like...
I do like that song, but I mean, like, it goes on for an hour.
And this is when they really started to, like...
At least when it reached its nadir, is somewhere along the way, it's just like, if they removed a note from a riff, that to them was a brand new riff, and they felt...
No shame, whatever, in, like, alternating between those two riffs that only had, like, a one or two note difference or a different access on the beat.
It's an impenetrable record to me.
It's really hard for me to pick out, like, differences between songs or even like riffs and it, it just goes on forever.
So that's, that's, yeah, like I said, easily.
And I will, I will cushion that blow with saying I would rather to, if this is Meshuggah's worst album, I think that's still better than a lot of people's best records, but yeah, We'll get into it the further we go up because when I heard this band, it set a pretty high standard for me, and I heard some things that I really liked, and they kind of disappeared over time, but not to get too far ahead of myself.
