Deck Of Choice: Dargo and Rograkh Quickly Combo Through the Competition

Yeah.

Um, I actually have one from the redemption event after The Siege, where I was kind of storming off, uh, with an Avendo Brush Razor, which is a card that impulse draws every time you sacrifice a non-token permanent.

[smacks lips] And I had found a Gamble to go get my Underworld Breach and discarded my Breach, um, which kinda threw me off of how I planned to win the game, and didn't realize that if I just casted the Goblin Bombardment that I had, I was able to sack Dargo and then recast Dargo to sack more things.

And I played it out after the game, and I would've found a line if I had just realized that Goblin Bombardment wasn't just a combo piece, it can do other things as well.

Hindsight is 20/20.

And I, I can commiserate in my, in my story as well.

Um, you know, we, [laughs] we learn, but that unfortunately is a, is a feels bad.

[laughs] Um, but to be fair, with the color combination we got going on, sometimes it might be a, a little bit of feels bad if you're gonna have to primarily use a Gamble.

Uh, just to go with that, uh, I was also playing in the redemption event at The Siege, and I was playing in a three Kinnan pod.

I don't remember if I was first, but I was definitely in a good place.

I, uh, took somebody's Mystic Remora with a Ragavan, and I also got down Vivi with a Tandem Lookout.

So I had drawn some cards, but I couldn't really storm off.

I was primarily, like, holding interaction pieces, and I was kinda tapped out, uh, with no Vivi but neither, uh, to use further.

And, uh, the player who actually only at first had a Mana Vault, and they Lotus Petal Mana Vault for that earlier in the game.

They then cast an Talisman of curio- uh, curiosity to be able to cast a Gilded Drake.

And yes, I had a Disrupting Shoal in my hand, but I didn't have a two-cost pitch, and the only other card was Pact of Negation.

Um, maybe I should just let it happen, and I have a Sink into Stupor, and I'll try to bounce it back to hand, something like that.

Uh, so I let it resolve, takes my Vivi, and then they're just back in the game, and they get into the game where they get a Rhystic Study and later a Mystic Remora.

And I shoulda just taken the risk on that, uh, seen what cards I was able to see, maybe do some stuff in my upkeep.

And, uh, opponents coulda still had answers, but I feel like I definitely threw my lead there, uh, when I could have seen more options.
