But so we've all had these these influences throughout throughout our lives.

But what we're seeing in a film like this and, you know, you talked about a lot of people aren't geared toward recognizing it.

There are still people in the so-called truth community that aren't geared to recognizing a lot of what is happening in this movie.

And I'll just kind of lay it out really quickly and then pass it back to you.

I thought it was acted fine, but I don't think the script is good.

That last scene with the standoff between the FBI agents and the military guys was a very sorry attempt.

at repeating the tension of the 1996 excellent action film that we will probably do at some point, The Rock by Michael Bay, which I say has the best military on military standoff.

I say unironically, it is good.

So before 2001, audiences had already watched New York terror, martial law logic, and the destruction of the Twin Towers across multiple products.

The siege in 1998 put Islamic terrorist attacks on New York on screen, then walked the country into military occupation and the shredding of civil liberties.

Fox later marketed the film as early prescient.

you know, eerily prescient.

And Chris, what's the movie for next week?

The movie for next week is The Siege starring Denzel Washington.

oh yeah that's a good that's a good movie that should be fun they like uh they're trying to avoid terrorist attacks they declare martial law

i guess yeah that's cool i'm pretty sure i've seen that one yeah we can

And I know that some people have requested this one over the last couple of years, and I have somehow I don't think ever seen it.

But for next week, we are going to do 1998's The Siege, directed by Edward Zwick and starring Denzel Washington, Bruce Willis, Annette Bening, Tony Shalhoub, and somebody.

I have to have seen this.

This seems like one of, this is probably one of those walked through rooms it was on movies.
