And about a year later, we settled at Doxa Church.

Um, and then

how'd that happen though? Yeah.

And was that hard? Like 16 is kind of a pivotal age and to be 16 looking around saying we've worked on this thing for nine years.

Like what did that, how'd that happen? just you developing, like how'd

that play into that? It was, and why did you get it? So when you send me a full disclosure for people listening, Trevin sent me a couple of questions, uh, just to, to, I don't know, get me ready for this podcast to speak.

Yeah, exactly.

That's great.

And one of the things that just kept coming up to me in my mind was doxa opening and closing doxa community church.

I'll refer to it as doxa for now.

Um, when it opened, like I said, I was seven and we were such a small church that it, we actually lived in an old retirement home.

It was like a small community retirement home.

And, uh, it was like a nine bedroom, seven bath.

And so I grew up in this old retirement home in a tiny little home church that we were a home church for about a year or two.

And then we were able to afford a building cause we had more and more people.

Um, But I grew up with just 20-somethings all around me.

I was seven years old.

And these 20-somethings, they were living life.

This was late 2000s, early 2010s.

So watching The Dark Knight Rises, that sort of series, all these great movies we were just watching and enjoying.

And I had so many pivotal moments while I was growing up.

being used to 20-year-olds more than I was used to my own age.

And so those were my foundational relationships there.

Those were people that I lived with.

And so they were there with me throughout it all, except for in public school.
