Tesla Roadster delay, EV deliveries, battery swap comes back, and more

The other thing that we talked about, Seth and I, in the last episode was, uh, we, we said, uh, "Stay tuned for the next one," 'cause the next one we're gonna talk about the Roadster unveiling on October 1st.

So, um-

And what happened?

Yeah.

[laughs] I was anticipating that pretty much like half of the episode today would be about the Roadster.

Uh, obviously not, 'cause it got delayed, and it got delayed by how much time, Seth?

Exactly two weeks.

[laughs]

For weather.

And yeah, Tesla's excuse is the weather.

It's specifically high wind, um, uh, which, which is true.

There was high wind on the 1st, and, and, um, you know, thunderstorms and, and rain.

Like, there's not good weather in Austin and, and, uh...

Not in Austin, actually.

It's in, uh, Waco.

And in Texas in general, there was not great, uh, weather th- this week.

But, but i- it's already cleared up.

[laughs] Like, it's, it's already cleared up.

And, um, and i- it's-- it makes-- I, I, I don't know if I trust them, to be fair, that they said that, uh, they have to delay it for two weeks because of the weather.

Like, I, I think there might be more to it than that.

Like, it wouldn't be surprising.

So we're not holding our breath, uh, [laughs] for another two weeks 'cause it could be delayed again.

I wouldn't be shocked whatsoever.

Uh, so yeah.

The Roadster, we won't talk about it too much today, but still, you know, with, uh, you know, it's-- I, I, I still believe there's gonna be a demo in the near future.
