I'm like, "I can't do it." So I've got a little car business experience, and so I run over to the dealership, the Ford dealership, and I'm half thinking about buying one of these, uh, Ford Rangers.

[laughs] Single mom, bro, never even eva- envisioned I could go buy some big nice truck.

Yeah.

dramatic dashcam video shows an impaired driver crashing into a barrier on Highway 1 through Langley early Saturday morning.

The video, filmed by a witness and shared by Langley RCMP, shows a Ford Ranger striking the cement divider and then spinning across the highway before coming to a stop on the side of the road.

Mounties arrived on scene to attend to the 23 year old driver from Kamloops.

He failed a sobriety test, received a $500 fine and was issued a 90 day driving ban with a 30 day vehicle impound.

So it wasn't any hot rod by any means, you know, um, power glide transmission.

I mean, thing was a turd, you know? So, um, I modified my dad's Ford Ranger when I was a junior or when I was when I started college because I didn't want to drive the 64 Falcon.

So he gave me his thing.

It was like a 1984 or 85 model Ford Ranger.

Painted it black, put a set of wheels on it.

As far as getting into Mustangs, though, I have to basically attribute that to my buddy Brian Shine.

He's my best friend, one of my best friends.

That car broke, so we had it sit.

Now, what you don't know yet is is that the $6,000 truck is a 1991 Ford Ranger that sat in somebody's garage for 20 years.

Dented tailgate, bed liners held together by staples and hope, and an air conditioner that only works when it's cold outside.

The $76,000 truck is a two-year-old Ford Raptor.

Wires, right? A stated X number of year warranty and an investment amount.

And the job isn't to make the homeowner think that we're more expensive for no reason, right? The job's to make sure they can actually see what's different between what we're talking about and what they're talking about.

The Ford Raptor versus the 25-year-old Ford Ranger, 35-year-old Ford Ranger.

I think we used 91.

So we were doing it, only the two of us, with my, at that moment in time, already wife, traveling the Route 40, so the Trans-Andean Route, which back in 2012... was still in vast majority, not even paved.

So we had this old pickup Ford Ranger and we were trying to make our way between the nearest gas station, which in that part of the world are really, really spread apart, and any safe way that we could stay for the night.

But the views, the sense of vast...

Aria and the sky and the stars in the night, those were things that for sure will stay with us for the long run.

Number 8 – Katherine Ann Truitt 37-year-old Katherine Ann Truitt was last seen by her roommate at their residence in Alameda, California on January 6, 2010.

On January 9, her tan 2003 Ford Ranger pickup truck was found by Federal Park Rangers at McClure's Beach at Point Reyes National Seashore in Marin County, California.

Two of her dogs were inside the truck.

A third was leashed to a rock nearby.

On this particular trip, he had planned to go camping near Shut Eye Peak.

It is unknown what happened on the trip that caused Doug to go missing.

A few days after his disappearance, Doug's 90's model Ford Ranger was found stuck in mud and partially burned on Chowchilla Mountain Road near Summit Camp.

Search and rescue operations were organized and conducted by the Mariposa County Sheriff's Office.
