Should we just open Taxi Squad up to any player? Do you see a problem with that?
In the NFL, you don't have to be a first or second year player to be on the taxi squad, right? You mean
Personally, I was thinking about it, and where I come from, I'm like, I don't know why you shouldn't be able to keep...
If it's a five-player slot, who cares if you're keeping... samajai p ryan on there you know instead of him being on the waivers i guess or something like that like yeah he came in handy you know now but i don't think anybody would take issue with that you know for the most part but that's the kind of mindset i think um that i'm coming with do you see any issues with that or yeah any thoughts there
no i don't think i see any issues i guess one of the clear intents of like when i'm a commissioner, especially with some of the folks who haven't played Dynasty before, I think limiting it to rookies specifically allows for individuals to get more engaged with the rookie population rather than get so kind of inundated with only veterans or players that they learned about and potentially don't care about afterward.
I think it's a really great opportunity for folks to be exposed to more names that they haven't had exposure to in the past.
I even think maybe making Taxi Squad larger than five players is actually a really interesting caveat and expanding it to maybe first and second year players or something along those lines.
I've always kind of looked at it as kind of like your development space for your team.
wanting to hold them year over year, but I'd rather them almost sit somewhere on my active roster and drop them on a weekly basis or whatever it might be if I don't plan on using them.
