WWE's Big Mistake: Devon & The Duke Episode 79

Welcome back to another episode of the 3 time award winning **Devon & The Duke Podcast**, hosted by WWE & TNA Hall of Famer **Devon Dudley** alongside award winning media specialist **Duke Loves Rasslin**! This week's show hits the perfect blend of serious wrestling analysis, hilarious banter, trending news, and heartfelt community honors. - **Where Was the Women's Wrestling on WWE RAW on Netflix?** The Duke opens the show fuming over a 3 hour broadcast of WWE RAW on Netflix that featured zero women’s wrestling matches. Devon agrees that the omission is baffling given how women have consistently proven to be top box office draws. - **Who Is to Blame? Triple H or TKO Management?** The fellas tackle the big question: Is this creative oversight on Triple H, a strategic push from TKO corporate, or simply a misstep in the creative writers' room? They dive deep into issues of fairness, equality, and representation in modern sports entertainment. - **Pro WWE Bias? Not Here!** While critics often accuse Devon and The Duke of being overly favorable to WWE, this candid discussion proves both hosts aren't afraid to hold the industry giant accountable when they drop the ball. - **Hilarious Backfire: Duke vs. Ajiea Lee Hargrave** In a lighthearted segment, The Duke calls out Devon for turning last week's guest, Ajiea Lee Hargrave, against him! Instead of staying friends, Ajiea now wants to beat Duke up. Devon’s response? That’s what happens when you constantly badmouth Cody Rhodes and CM Punk on the mic! - **Parasites, Outer Space & Trending News** The hosts step outside the ring to break down current national news, including concerns surrounding a fresh food parasite and a fascinating new exoplanet discovery that might offer further evidence of extraterrestrial life. - **Honoring a Legend: The Duke of Dorchester Pete Doherty** The Duke shares a special shoutout to Boston City Councilor **John FitzGerald** and his team for holding an official Boston City Council ceremony honoring the late, great Pete Doherty. Joined by Pete's family alongside Councilors **Erin Murphy**, **Ed Flynn**, and **Minard Culpepper**, the ceremony celebrated a wrestling icon who always carried his community on his back. - **Advocating for the Marginalized** From standing up for women’s wrestlers to honoring local legends who made a difference, Devon and The Duke reaffirm their commitment to using their platform to advocate for equal respect across the board.
