FPL Draft 2026/27 previews for Ipswich, Leeds & Liverpool. Full squad run-downs with Draft FC Kiran and everything looking through the draft lens. 📊 In This Episode: - Ipswich - a counter-attacking…
So let's get into the first team for this episode, and newly promoted Ipswich, and it's not been, uh, too long since we last saw Ipswich in the Premier League.
They've just done the old in and out phases from their last outing in the Premier League.
They have done a little bit of work already in the transfer window.
They've brought in Florentino from Burnley, Lukic from Fulham, and Maeda from, uh, Celtic are certainly the main four.
And then i- in, um, in midfield and then up front, they've got a new striker in the form of Emerson, who we've actually highlighted as our one to watch this season, and one that may actually be one of the few Ipswich players that makes it onto the draft board.
Any of those, uh, tickle your fancy, Kieran?
I think we're looking at...
We're, we're speaking to managers in larger leagues here.
Um, 'cause I think there's, like, some interesting players who've done really well in the Championship, but a couple of them we've seen in the Premier League and have not been amazing.
They're also still young players, so a second crack at the Premier League, they might, they might perform, uh, a bit better.
So a couple of the players, uh, the new signings like Florentino and Lukic don't really pop for me.
Um, but Fatawu, I think, looks like a dangerous player in, in the Premier League, and Leicester, I think, underused him.
I think Vinnie's story was pretty poor and didn't really change much in the time that he was a manager.
Um, so I, I don't really use that time as, um, that strongly.
But if we look at his two championship seasons, he's got nine goals and seven assists in 44 games, and six goals and 13 assists in 40 games, which is a pretty good return.
Um, and he's still young, and I think, uh, like I said, in the eye test he's looked quite dangerous, so I think he c- he could be someone in your larger leagues, uh, to look at.
I think in a similar merit, Philogene Has looked pretty good in the championship twice.
Uh, so 12 goals and two assists last season, and 12 goals and seven assists a couple seasons ago for Hull.
And I don't think...
I think it's probably gonna be like Clarke and Fataru.
What, what, what are your thoughts on their winger options? 'Cause that's where I, that, that's where I've got, got some interest for Largie Heath.
